Associate Member of the Governing Body
I currently teach the Reception class of St. Catharine’s – I absolutely adore my job, the school and the children in my care! I first joined St. Catharine’s in 2016, and I was elected as an associate member to the Governing body in 2018.
I am passionate about education, even more so about the Early Years. Prior to working at St. Catharine’s, I worked at an outstanding community school as a Pre-School teacher. It was here I found my love for the Early Years. At St. Catharine’s, under the leadership of another Early Years enthusiast, Mrs Goulding, I was able to spread my wings even further, and really put my stamp on the Early Years teaching and provision of the school!
In 2017, I took on the newly found role of Parent Partnership co-ordinator. This role has allowed me to bring innovative ideas and events to school, with the help of the ‘Friends of St. Catharine’s’. We are responsible for the festive bingo events, ‘Be our Guest’ parent drop in sessions, parent workshops and many more.
I have a very broad range of interests. I have a large number of family and friends, so my weekends are very busy…Dog walks on a Sunday are my favourite!
