Parent Governor Vice Chair
I was elected to the governing body as a parent governor in October 2015, After my child left St. Catharines, I became a Foundation governor in November 2019. At present I also serve on the curriculum committee. I feel very passionate in trying to help all the children at St. Catharine’s enjoy school and to reach their full potential. This was a major factor in me wanting to apply for the role as a parent governor. With my daughter currently in Year 3, it was another opportunity to try and help in any way I could.
I feel very humbled and privileged to be a part of the governing body we have at St. Catharine’s and with the continued support of the parents and the fantastic staff we have, look forward to us helping build and maintaining a solid platform enabling all our children at the school to thrive both educationally and emotionally.
In my personal life I moved down from Newcastle Upon Tyne three years ago and currently work for a telecommunications company in Manchester. I am a big football and cricket lover and support Newcastle United (Don’t hold that against me!) If you have questions don’t hesitate to contact me through the school office.
