Our maths this week has involved subtraction of 2 digit numbers. We have used dienes equipment to physically exchange a ten for ten 1s as we subtracted practically. Miss weigh modelled it first using our smartboard then we had to ask the adults please can we exchange? Lots of practical maths fun through concrete learning!
