What a week we have had in Year 2. Where do we start?
During our Geography lessons we have been learning about maps. How to read maps, why we use maps and how to make our own maps. In one of our lessons we made an map of our classroom from an aerial view. This was tricky, but we all really enjoyed it. Take a look at our pictures from the lesson.
This week, we have been working hard with our Woodland Ranger Chris, on our benches for our seating area. We have made our bench from recycled pallets donated from a local handyman’s. Take a look our slideshow of pictures.

We have had a visitor come in class this week, Eddie the Elf. He is a kindness elf and is watching for us being kind to each other in class. This week he has noticed children being king and set them so special tasks to complete, like decorating our class tree and making a special post box for our letters to Santa. We love that he has come to watch us and look forward to seeing him every morning with his special letter from Santa.

Our week finished by celebrating our class stars. Here is our star of the week and our reader of the week.
