Year 1 started the week by looking at mechanisms within story books. Next they experimented and made a slider and lever mechanism using card, glue, scissors and paper fasteners. They used their own ideas and designed a moving Christmas card that they will make next week. It will be fantastic to see their finished products.
It was lovely to see the children decorating their Christmas boxes, they used lots of glitter, sequins and shiny stuff!
They were ready in time for the Christmas pyjama and movie day.
We even had time to fit in some Maths work. Looking at teen numbers and using tens and ones to represent each number.
