Year 1 had a visit from the Giant last week via Zoom! They then planted magic beans, made giant grass heads, went on a plant hunt, and made a huge beanstalk and castle.
In Science the children made a diagram to show the structure of a plant and label the parts. They loved going around the school to find common plants. They found dandelions, daisies, roses, daffodils, tulips and clover.
This week in Maths we are counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s with help from our favourite guy…Jack Hartman!
The children had lots of groovy moves when counting.
