Our topic for the Summer term is called the Green Green Grass of Home, and we will be learning all about our local area. We had a great day for our Brilliant Beginning! We started as superheroes being Guardians of the Galaxy for our school grounds. We found places around school that we thought needed protecting, and then stood by them with our best superhero poses. Then we spent some time exploring the school grounds and make bark and leaf rubbings to find different textures and shapes. In the afternoon, we had a delicious picnic even though it was inside because of the rain! We finished the day by playing some games outside, and had lots of fun together.
