Hello to you all, on yet another wet and windy day! Daisy and I are not impressed that our long walks in the sunshine have come to an end… for now!
I hope you have had a lovely week this week, and you are enjoying our Home Learning Challenges! We try to make them as fun and as interactive as possible, using all of the resources you can find in and your home!
This week, we have added a ‘Digging Deeper‘ section to our Maths Home Learning Challenge. This will be a section of learning that will challenge you on previously taught maths concepts, this will check that you are ‘digging deeper’ into your brain and using your ‘sticky’ knowledge when learning in maths. It will also show your adults at home what learning you may need a little more practice on.
In our Phonics learning this week, I have added some booklet guides from ‘Teach your Monster to Read’ which is a great teaching tool when retaining both letters and sounds. Within these guides you will find game ideas and teaching pointers to really help you with retaining your sounds and when reading simple and complete sentences.
Please continue to enjoy your home learning and checking Dojo , as we add updates, ‘Story Time with Miss Brown’, and useful information daily. Also, it means that we can reply to any questions and queries instantly. We also give Dojo team points for any home learning that we see… So keep up the good work!
