This week in Guided Reading, we have been playing some games to improve our vocabulary. We use dictionaries to define some words about movement, and once we had defined them, we then had to put them in order from the slowest type of movement to the fastest. Another game we played was Connections, the children had 16 words given to them, and they had to put them in groups of 4 with a common theme. Once they were in the groups, they had to define them, and say why they put them in those groups.
