Year 3 had a fabulous day at Haigh Woodland Park on Friday. After a lovely walk up when the children were taking lots of wonderful photos of our area, we arrived at the front of the hall. The children split into groups to complete fieldwork surveys, art rubbing and more photos for our photo story project.
Of course we found some time to play on the adventure playground and have lunch. All the members of the public commented on how polite and well behaved our class were during the day which makes us so proud as teachers.
After the walk back, there were some very tired children and adults! We managed a total of 23,000 steps. Wow! What an effort as well as lots of fun!
