It was so lovely to return last week and you can see from the children’s faces they were happy to be back with their friends.
The children have loved learning the Continents song in Geography. We have used the globe and maps to locate hot and cold places in the world. We have learned the words North Pole, South Pole and Equator.
Year 1 have read the story Handa’s Surprise, the story is based in Africa which linked with our Geography work. We sequenced the story and had a go at retelling the story in our own words. We came up with some great adjectives to describe the animals and fruits.
