We have been very lucky this week with beautiful weather and clear skies at night. For the next few nights, this allows us an extra opportunity for awe and wonder, as the International Space Station is clearly visible in the night sky as it passes over us!
This evening the ISS will be incredibly visible as it passes from West to East from 7.40pm until 7.46pm. If you miss it first time, you will get another chance in the same direction from 9.17pm until 9.19pm. It looks like an unusual plane at first sight, but it will surprise you how visible it is!
Lots of the children have either studied space this year at school or have done so in previous years, so this is a lovely opportunity to see space travel in real life!
