Hello Year 1!
We hope you have had a great week in the sunshine. It has been great to see all the work you have been completing and we hope you are staying safe. We are missing you all so much and we hope to see you all soon.
In English this week, we thought we would choose another story by the author Oliver Jeffers called Stuck. In this story a little boy called Floyd gets his kite stuck up a tree. He throws up his shoe to shift it, but that gets stuck too. So he throws up his other shoe and that gets stuck, along with… You’ll have to read the story to find out more.
Here is the story to watch and read, followed by some comprehension questions to answer.
For this weeks writing focus, we would like you to find the nouns in the story. Here is a short video explaining your activity.
Enjoy writing your sentences, And remember to use a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop.

In Maths this week we are comparing numbers using, more than, less then and equals to. Below are some short videos to help you recap how we did this in class.
