Reception Home Learning – 18.05.2020 | St Catharine's C of E Primary School

Welcome back to our class page! I hope you are having a lovely week, and making the most of the sunshine and dry weather! We can now enjoy the great outdoors a little more when exercising, and I am going to try to incorporate that into our Home Learning Challenges!

Please remember we want you to stay safe in your own homes, so please don’t go to the shops to buy any resources for your activities! We try to plan the activities around items in and around your home.

This week, I have been very busy! I have recorded three ‘Story Time with Miss Brown’ videos and will post them throughout the week for you and your family to enjoy – remember to like and comment below the video to let me know you’re watching. I love engaging with you all!

Also, I have been equally as busy preparing our website for our new Reception class that will be joining us very soon! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown, you are nearly ready to move onto Year One. A lot of your Home Learning Challenges will start to get trickier as time goes on, as we are preparing you for that learning transition into the next class – so exciting!

As always, please continue to send your home learning, videos and pictures to me on Dojo, I love to see what you have all been up to. I also like to see the new skills that you have been learning over the past few weeks, here are a few so far: riding bikes without stabilisers, sewing, tying laces and… chopping wood!! (Be careful!!)
