Hello everyone. We hope you’ve had a lovely Easter and enjoyed your break in the amazing weather that we have had.
Reading
Before school closed, we started to read the book Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. In class we read the book together and talked about the story. We used reading vipers as prompts to talk about the story and to answer some questions. At home we would like you to read the story again and listening to the story to help answer some more questions about the story.

Writing
During our English lessons, after reading the story, we would have practiced writing sentences using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. On the sheet below we have used some images from the story for you to practice writing sentences remembering the below success criteria

So far we have worked so hard on understanding numbers to 100. We have used splat 100 in class to practice reading numbers quickly. Click on this link and play a game of fastest finger with someone in your house. You could see how many numbers you can splat in 20 seconds.

In class we started to complete Flash Back 4. The following slides have 4 questions that recap the learning we have completed so far. These could be used as a quick quiz before you start your maths activity.

Here are some short videos to explain this weeks maths work on tens and ones. In school we use lots of equipment to help with our learning, but the videos show how we can still practice by drawing the tens and ones we would use in class.
Here are the Maths sheet to follow on from the videos it is Not essential you print hem off, a piece of paper is just as good. You can choose the numbers you want to use from the 100 square.
