Year 2: Home Learning Week 1 (20.4.2020)
Hi Year 2,
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday spent with your families at home. The weather has been beautiful, so I hope that you have managed to get out into your gardens too. :).
We had a lovely Easter doing jigsaws and have spent lots of time walking over our local fields with Scout. Aaron and I have been really tired from walking, but Scout never ever seems to get tired! We have been making sure that we keep in touch with our families and friends on Facetime and by phone call.
For your weekly learning, each week I will be uploading a video for maths, reading and writing. I have had to break the videos down into different parts because they were too long to upload together! This will be a tutorial for you to follow before you complete the worksheet/activity that goes with it. Each activity will be modelled on the video. If you have a printer, you are more than welcome to print the activities, but this is not essential. A piece of paper will do the trick!

After you have watched the video, you can then watch my tutorial, which is a revision on word classes. You will then be able to complete the activity which will allow you to build up a word bank ready for writing your story next week.
